How to Stop Your Computer Running Slow

Slow computers are incredibly annoying and frustrating, preventing you from being able to do even the most basic of things on your PC. It’s a big problem which affects even the best computers throughout the world, but luckily, there’s an easy way to fix it.

The problem with a slow computer is that even though it might seem like there’s no way to “fix” it, you can actually stop it from running slow by stopping the cause of the slowness. Not many people know this, but there’s a part of your computer called the ‘registry’ which is the biggest reason why computers run slow. It’s basically a big database which stores all the settings and options for your computer, allowing Windows to remember all sorts of information from your desktop background to your Internet favorites.

The registry is one of the most important and frequently used parts of Windows, but it’s also one of the biggest causes of making your computer run slow. What happens is that since it’s so crucial to your system, Windows is constantly opening 100’s of different registry files each time you use your computer. This is okay, but unfortunately, Windows often gets confused and ends up saving these files in completely the wrong way, making them corrupt and incredibly hard to read. (Think of the corrupt files as book with all their chapters mixed up).

This makes your computer have to take longer to decipher them, making your system slow down dramatically. And the worst part is that the more corrupt files there are, the slower your system will get. This is a big problem which is actually the biggest cause of a slow PC (although almost no-one knows it).  Luckily, it’s one of the easiest problems to fix, by using what’s known as a ‘registry cleaner’. Registry cleaner tools are small software packages designed to clean out the registry by scanning each registry file and then fixing any of the damaged ones that they find. This allows your computer to read the files it needs, when it needs them, speeding it up dramatically.

We’ve found the best registry cleaner to speed up your PC, is a tool called RegAce
